via Challenge Logic - Anyone who knows me knows that 2 of my greatest passions have been for cycling and movie making, I just wish that I had more time to do both. About 2 or so years ago I stumbled across this great site, http://projectpedal.com , which documented the making of a documentary movie telling the story of a cyclist who cycled across the USA starting at the Pacific and finishing at the Atlantic Ocean. The title of the film is For Thousands of Miles.

I’ve been following the progress of the movie since I found the site and have helped support the project, and hope to continue doing so into the future. I can’t believe I haven’t posted about this previously and it recently dawned on me to mention it on my blog so that I can help promote the project further and hopefully help Mike generate some more much need financial support so that he is able to complete this amazing project.

I have provided a playlist for my friend who is producing this movie for inspiration. He has used two of the tracks that I have given. I feel honored. I’ll be posting the other Teaser shortly. Seriously check out all the trailers and anticipate the movie. (via Soul Plenty Community - I have provided a playlist for my friend who is…)

via Project Pedal | MacDavid - I have been rather silent on this particular topic, but not by choice. Anyway a person that I consider a good online friend ( Mike Ambs)has an on-going online project called Stockpile.

This project basically allows you to submit both photos and video that can be added to Mike Ambs’ film project Project Pedal. To learn more details on how to do this, go to stockpile.projectpedal.com.

In short, this is a good and worthwhile project to get behind. :)

You will want to watch this over and over…short and to the point. It makes me think back to a time when riding in the rain, where you have this moment of acceptance, when you realize that you are in the rain and it’s not going to stop…and you just accept it and keep pedaling…truly a freeing feeling. Didn’t really look into much more detail about the video, other than the fact that it moved me…
